Sculpting the Feminine Form Through Plastic Surgery

By: Dr. Argha,

The womanly physique epitomizes the true sense of a 3D shape in space. It not only represents the classic hourglass silhouette, but also curves that are appreciated as the bust in the front and the buttock in the back. Unfortunately, the body lift procedure only corrects vertical tissue laxity. It does not , however, correct for the circumferential laxity nor for undefined contours and projections. Dr. Argha’s signature Body Contouring Procedure aims to return tissue laxity correction to all three dimensions of the body. This involves correction of both circumferential and vertical laxity, as well as correcting the dimension of projection and contour. This third dimension is most applicable to the breasts, the lower back, the buttocks and the abdomen.
In most cases, Dr. Agha carries out his “High-definition Body Contouring” in 2 stages. This involves about 16 hours of team surgery in total. By using trained physician assistants, Dr. Agha can complete each phase of the surgery in around 7-8 hours. Taking into account wishes or what produces the best results, one stage will address the lower body and another phase the upper half. Dr. Argha takes a three dimensional approach when performing the lower body lift. He begins the procedure at the patient’s back. First the upper back rolls are liposuctioned. This liposuctioned fat is then collected in a sterile container, cleansed with antibiotics and processed for injection into the buttock area as small droplets for buttock lipoaugmentation (otherwise known as the Brazilian Butt lift)or Brazilian Butt lift. Through this approach the contour and projection of the lower buttock regions are enhanced. Then, incisions are made on the lower and upper buttock for the circumferential abdominoplasty. Between the two incisions, the tissue of the lower back is then mobilized as flaps for augmentation of the upper buttock region. Pockets of an appropriate size are then formed under the upper buttock regions to accommodate these flaps. The buttock is then lifted and the incisions are closed through absorbable sutures that are placed internally. This approach allows buttock sag and laxity to be corrected, incorporating the excess tissue from your lower back to replace any lost volume. Thus buttock projection that is closely associated with feminine beauty and sensuality is restored and at times even enhanced.
Many patients discover a fuller and curvier buttock than ever before. Dr. Agha then continues the lower body lift procedure by performing the outer thigh lift. The outer thigh tissue is carefully undermined as far as the knee region using a special instrument. It is then elevated and secured at a higher position with deep stitches. Next, he focuses on the thigh region below the buttocks. To correct laxity of the thigh back, Dr Agha has designed a signature procedure that he has termed the Spiral thighplasty. This procedure corrects for the thigh laxity starting below the buttock region. The excess upper thigh tissue is excised at the buttock fold, and the thigh is raised to a higher position. Once the thigh is secured to the underlying tissues in this new position, the buttock fold is carefully reconstructed. All skin incisions are then closed, and the patient is rotated on the bed and placed on her back with ample help.
Dr. Agha then completes the circumferential abdominoplasty in the front, followed by completion of the Spiral thighplasty. Unlike other thigh lift procedures, the Spiral thighplasty reduces thigh excess both vertically and circumferentially. Most of Dr. Agha’s patients notice a substantial reduction in their thigh measurements as well as in their overall size. The hallmark of Dr. Agha’s approach is return of a three-dimensional contour to the body, as well as placement of symmetrical incisions that are placed low on the abdomen and well-hidden in a bikini. This combination of procedures can take anywhere from 7 to 8 hours of surgery.
During the second phase, the remaining body contouring procedures, including an extended arm lift (brachioplasty), an upper body lift, and breast reshaping, are completed. This combination of procedures can take anywhere from 6 to 7 hours of surgery. The second stage is best undertaken once all the incisions of the first stage are fully healed and the nutritional reserves of the patient replaced. In Dr. Agha’s practice, most patients typically wait between 3 to 6 months for the second stage. The extended brachioplasty corrects for the significant arm skin and tissue laxity. The upper body lift can be done as a vertical incision on the outer chest, or a horizontal incision on the back. The choice depends on the degree of back tissue laxity, the orientation of the laxity and the patient’s desires and aversions of scars. Finally, he finishes the breast reshaping as described above.
Dr. Agha uses liposuction during both the upper and lower body lift to contour and sculpt the underlying tissue to a desired three-dimensional form.
